Well, my show is back for the Bowdoin Spring semester in a leaner, lighter package. I prefer 2-hour stint to adequately stretch my musical muscles, but perhaps I need to do some dashing rather than the cross-country audio jog. Ah, back from the hedonistic gluttony of Thanksgiving and it's bloated aftermath...phew. I've got a pretty good show lined up for you tonight. Pulsating Sac Of Sound - 11.19.08
Heck of a day, heck of a month...November is flying by with no slow down in sight! Not sure if I'll be on the air next Wednesday (Thanksgiving Eve) since yours truly has to arise at 3am for a flight out of Portland the following morning. It'll be a Zombie Thanksgiving for sure...anyhow, blah blah. Tonight's show is brought to you courtesy of me and my friend "The Genius Playlist." "What's that?" you ask. "Genius Playlist" is a little feature in iTunes that lets you select a song and then generate an automatic playlist based on the song type, genre, bpm, etc. It's very cool and usually produces surprising results. I've come to enjoy it immensely since it can be hard to sift through 45,000 songs looking for songs with similar moods, tonality and tempo. It's helped my mix-making mojo go from "not bad" to "boing!" Tonight's show will be better than a 200 foot-tall Dick Cheney vomiting cash and saliva like a rotating sprinkler while the song "I Love Rock 'N Roll" blares from a 35-foot speaker on his evil white ass.

Hey kiddies! We have a special Fall-themed edition of the Pulsating Sac Of Sound tonight. I've culled the top few tracks for 10 years worth of Fall mixes into one long Fall show tonight. It wasn't easy to do since my 2-CD Fall mixes have a lot of good stuff on them. From 1998 - 2007 we cover the gamut of Fall songs.
